DESCRIPTION:As we kick off 2026\, the Neighborhood Watch group will host our quarterly “Town Hall” meeting at the COVE where we met last year for these meetings. \nThis is a great time to meet our newly elected members of the Sabina Village Council and our newly re-elected Mayor and let them know what you would like to see the Village take action on in the new year. First it would be nice to congratulate them on their support of the Village\, but then share your concerns\, frustrations\, or issues with the Village\, residents\, traffic\, stray cats\, water prices\, trash collection\, utilities\, water\, etc. \nWe try to hear all such concerns and then try to find solutions\, not just make complaints. We also try to involve the residents of the community as we try to tackle all such concerns as “Neighborhood Watch” is not just a team looking for trouble but looking for ways to celebrate the Village of Sabina\, OH and find ways to make it better. \nConsider joining us with all those you know near your home at 7:00 pm on Tuesday\, January 20\, 2026 at the COVE here… Have things to share before the meeting\, post it on our form or Facebook page via Messenger. \nWe hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, December 9th at 6:00 pm\, the Sabina Neighborhood Watch group will be meeting at Ralph’s American Grill for our December meeting\, review of 2025 and to meet with any Sabina residents with concerns or offers of support. \nAttendees will be responsible for their own dinners\, but if you bring cash Roger can use his discount to get 20% off for everyone and you can just pay him. Alcohol is not discounted\, so if you choose to drink please note that. \nRoger has reservations\, but if you plan on attending\, please let him know by replying on the Sabina Neighborhood Watch Facebook page so he has an accurate count. DESCRIPTION:On July 15\, 2025\, the Sabina Neighborhood Watch group will hold our next “Town Hall” meeting to invite residents and businesses owners to join us in taking a look at what is working and what may not be in the village of Sabina regarding crime or improvements. \nThis month\, instead of our normal meeting place at the COVE next to the Church of Christ\, we’ll be meeting at the newly rebuilt shelter at Sabina Park! If you’ve not seen the new structure\, be sure to get out and see it! \nBefore the meeting at the shelter\, we are doing something else exciting! We’ll be using the new Sabina Police Department’s side-by-side and doing a “block crawl” to help raise awareness to the blocks in the village and help residents learn more about us and hopefully meet their block captains. We really want to get the word out that the Neighborhood Watch group is constantly working to help make the village of Sabina be the true “Eden of Ohio” and you can help us get there! \nWhile the plans may change due to circumstances or weather\, here is our plan for the night… \nJuly Town Hall Meeting — Block Captain Neighborhood Crawl\nDate: July 15\, 2025 \nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/JiGTgae9Sequ1y56A (4.1 miles) \n\nStart – Stop 1 (7:00pm): By old pizza place at near 793 Howard Street\nStop 2 (7:10pm): near 219 West Mound Street\nStop 3 (7:20pm): near 573 Florence Avenue\nStop 4 (7:30pm): near 190 South College Street\nStop 5 (7:40pm): near 373 South Jackson Street\nStop 6 (7:50pm): near 64 South Jackson Street\nStop 7 (8:00): near 136 Rolfe Drive\nEnd – Stop 8 (8:10): Sabina Park\, then we have our normal Town Hall schedule from 8:10-9:00\n\nEach stop led by Sabina Police Side-by-Side and SNW group follow in minimal cars. At each stop we get out as side-by-side flashes lights and turns on sirens. As people come out of homes\, we share who we are and pass out cards\, brochures (with QR code) and swag. We will invite residents to park to wrap up Town Hall Block Captain Crawl. At Sabina Park\, have snacks and refreshments with more cards\, brochures and swag. \nThere we will introduce our Block Captains and note their section. See if anyone wants to volunteer for the North section (still open). We’ll talk about SNW group\, Police status\, introduce Chief\, share the importance of residents when council and mayor status is not 100%. Then we will spend the rest of time allowing residents to ask questions and try to provide answers. \n\nBring lawn chairs to the park\, they still don’t have the tables in place.

So spread the word\, especially to anyone with a property full of trash and junk who needs a place to get rid of that stuff – legally.  \nThe Police Chief will be handing out warnings to residents who’s properties are considered blighted and in dire need of cleanup.
